Hello Wolfhound Nation!

The 2017 St. Brigid Football season is right around the corner!  Just a few important reminders and thank you for your attention to these:

  1.  REGISTER HERE-Sooner the better please.  Please contact me with any special requests.

2. St. Brigid Mini-Camps– Every Saturday morning starting June 3rd from 8:30a-10a at St. Brigid Green across from parish.  These are completely optional.  We are providing an opportunity to provide fundamental education and begin getting your boys acquainted with each other and these great coaches in the program.  Not sure about playing next season?  Come on our and see what St. Brigid Football is about!!!  There is NO FEE to attend the camps!

What to bring: cleats, t-shirt, shorts, and jug of water (normal bottle of water/Gatorade won’t be enough)

First official practice will be on August 7 with 1st league game in mid September.  I am working on getting our program at least one out of league game, or two in August/early September.

The St. Brigid football program is open to all 4th thru 8th grade boys of registered parishioners, religious education students, and St. Brigid school students. Saturday morning mini-camps start on June 3rd from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m., official team practices start on Monday, August 7, and the game season begins in late August and lasts thru October. Parent Like a Champion Today -Required of at least one parent for players in grades 4th thru 7th. If a parent has taken PLC to be a head coach, this satisfies the requirement.  Our trainers will be offering sessions before the upcoming football season, be on the lookout for upcoming opportunities in the bulletin and email blasts.

The Wolfhounds Football Program plays their games on Brigid’s Green. We have a varsity team for 7th/8th graders, and we also have teams for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.
